"I just want to let you know that Carl was shot dead yesterday on a farm outside Schroeders just after 4. They had been out with friends and were returning them to the farm and when they got there an attempted robbery was taking place and as they jumped out of their brand new car the bastards opened fire and shot Carl in the head and he died instantly, and then shot up the car which is riddled with bullets. There were three of them and they hit the other 3 around on their backs, told them to get into the house and not look back or else they would also be shot. They demanded Wendy's cell phone but did not take her handbag which was over her shoulder, nor Carl's phone or wallet from his pocket.
I am worried about her as she is frighteningly calm and insists that we do not come up as she needs to be alone as the girls will arrive today. The police and forensics were still there at about 8 when they only arrived for the body. They all had to have counselling on the spot so I will hear more today."
