    • Alfred Philcox and Arthur Johnston Philcox were twins.

      In 1881 he was living at 3 Cambridge Terrace, Prittlewell, Essex with his wife Jane and 4 mth old daughter. He was the station master. He is listed in the 1882 Kelly's Directory for Essex at the same address, as Station Master.

      In 1891 the family was living at Hindward Road (?), Camberwell (London). With the family were Lizzie Philcox (40), Lilly Kay (8) and Ernest Kay (4)

      By the 1901 census he was living at 58 Stanbury Rd, Camberwell (London), working as a Commercial Clerk, with his wife Janet and his daughters Annie B (20), a typist, and Kathleen A. (15)

      In 1911 he was living in Walthamstow, Occupation Clerk.

      His daughters were both born in Southend-on-Sea Essex, where he was the stationmaster. There is a photograph in the Essex County Archives.

      In loving memory Janet PHILCOX passed into rest January 30th 1931 aged 75
      Also Arthur Johnson PHILCOX passed to rest May 30th 1938 aged 85
