      Also in 1905 the Valuation Rolls show that "Betsy" Sidey rented (entry 633) part of a house and garden in Campbell Street from a John Paterson, Insurance agent, Green View, Hamilton.. There were 11 tenants in this building.

      In 1915 Eliza was still renting the shop but her landlord had died and she was renting from Alex Stewart of 91 Arbroath Rd, Dundee. ( SIDEY, ELIZA (Valuation Rolls VR113 / 61 / 247) 232

      However it seems that she had inherited the house on George St from her mother, Betty Sidey where she was living, and renting out rooms to a David lamond, potato dealer an a Westland Scott.
