  PRIVATE Name taken from the death registration of daughter Helen Tasker nee Andrew. Marriage registration reads: «i»Thomas Andrew in Parish of Coupar Angus & Anne Bayne in this parish [Kettins] were proclaimed for 1 mo April 3rd pro 2nd April 10th pro 3rd April 17th Married April 21st.«/i» Kettins is about a mile from Coupar Angus Who was Anne Bayne? I have found 6 'Anne's born between 1750 and 1770 four of whom were born in Ross & Cromarty, north of Inverness, so they are not likely candidates. The two other 'Anne Bayne's were born in Tibbermore, Perth, About 19 miles away on the other side of Perth to Coupar Angus. The one was born in 1754, making her 10 years older than her husband - not impossible but less likely than the 2nd Anne Bayne who was born also in Tibbermore in 1760 to George Bayne and Mary Hendry. There is no way to know for sure which of these is our ancestor at this point. Many people did not register their children at this stage in history so she may not have been registered - or she may have been registered in another church.
