There are three surviving records for the birth of a Robert Tasker in all of Scotland between 1553 and 1680:
* 13/08/1665 Tasker Robert born to Johne Tasker in Inchture , Perthshire, about 10 miles south of Coupar Angus almost equidistant between Perth and Dundee.
* 09/10/1666 Tasker Robert born to Georg Tasker in Liff, Benvie and Invergowrie in Angus, about 12 miles south of Coupar Angus, on the outskirts of modern day Dundee.
The third possibility is:
*09/09/1655 Tasker Robert born to Georg Tasker/Margt. Smithe in Kettins, Angus.
Kettins is 1.8 miles from Coupar Angus so I am jumping to the conclusion that this is the correct record. Without some collaborating evidence we cannot know for sure.
