Notes - There are very few "Gilchrist" or "Gillchrist"s in Coupar Angus as this time so it is not unreasonable to think that Janet Gillchrist was the sister of our Isabel Gillchrist though at this time there is no hard evidence.
Burial record for 4 Dec 1792 in Coupar Angus Parish Register of Deaths reads:

This entry is followed by

No birth record has been found for any of these people as currently only the members of the official Church of Scotland are searchable on Scotlandspeople.com
There are several explanations for this: That the family could have belonged to one of the splinter churches;
or they could have belonged to the Episcopalian Church [Anglicans].
A third explanation would be that the records have been lost/ destroyed over the intervening years.
