Notes - Alexander Forbes Stuart, b.15 Mar 1898, Gartly Aberdeenshire, Scotland; d. 21 Apr 1919, Noranside Sanatorium, Forfarshire, Scotland and buried in the Gartly Parish cemetery. He contracted meningitus whilst in active service for the Royal Army Medical Corp during WW1, was discharged due to this illness and sent 'home' but never recovered. He was buried by his father.
