  PRIVATE The «b»1851 England Census«/b» shows Francis William, known as "Frank", Best as a 2-year old child living with his parents and baby brother George Best (5 Months) in Kirkham, Lancashire, England. Francis's father was an Independent minister of the Zion Chapel in Kirkham, Lancashire. In the following census we find Frank and his brother George pupils in «b»1861«/b» at Silcoates School in Alverthorpe, Yorkshire. Frank was 14 years old. Silcoates School had about 50 pupils at that time. The building is still a landmark today. In «b»1867 «/b»Frances William Best died at the age of 18, in Bolton, Lancashire, where his parents had moved between the census of 1851 and the birth of their daughter Rebecca in 1853.
