  PRIVATE There is some confusion about her birthdate - her baptism in «i»England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975«/i» on Ancestry is transcribed as June 1, 1805 but all census record indicate a date around 1812. 1841: 1810 1851: 1813 1861: 1812 1871: 1812 I've gone with the baptism date. She appears twice in the 1871 Census, once with her husband and son at 2 Bendell St, Elswick, and once at the home of her sister Ann Lough. In the entry for her husband her birthplace is Greenhead, this is not the modern village of Greenhead on Hadrian's Wall, rather the extinct village of Greenhead neighbouring Muggleswick and Lower Shotley, not found today on Google Maps
