Developed fast drying resisto cement used in the Van Stadens bridge built between 1967 - 1971 on the Garden Route 1932 B.Sc. degree at the University of Natal in Pietermaritzburg. 193? Worked for a Gold mining company then 1939 to 1969 worked for Pretoria Portland Cement. His first job in this company was at Slurry, just outside Mafeking. Met Luciene in 1940 in Mafeking. 1942 married Luciene and six week later left for North Africa as a SA Airforce navigator and operations. Child born: George-18 Jul 1943 Home leave Child born: Clifford- 27 Sep 1945 Returned from the War and sent to Port Elizabeth to work. Child born: Elizabeth -3 Feb 1952 Returned to Mafeking. Child born: Catherine - 21 Jan 1958 1959 to 1969. Living in Orkney 1969 to 1980 worked for Phalaborwa Mining Company. This was a copper mine. Retired to Howick, Natal.
