• Notes

  PRIVATE David Lamb has been very difficult to research as I have not found a record of him in the Census alongside his wife or children. Without this I have no age to go on, as ages are not recorded in the Marriage Records. There are many David Lambs. The Banns and Marriages record says that David Lamb was from Arbroath. The most likely record I have so far is a death record of a David Lamb, Master Mariner, in the Marine Register dated 14 March 1882, but this does not explain his absense from all census records.
