- She travelled to the Cape with her daughter and son-in-law Jacques de Savoy
She was the widow of Phillipe de Clercq merchant of Doornik and arrived at the Cape in 1688 in the «i»Oosterlandt.«/i» In 1698 she signed a power of attorney in favour of Jean Bourla merchant of Amsterdam.
News of her was brough to Amsterdam in 1710 by three men who left the Cape, who reported her as "een seer oude Vrouw van omtrent of meer als tagtigh jaere, wonende aldar ter huijse van haer schoon soon Monr. Savoij Vrij burger aen de Caap"
