«/b»P1 «b»Died-«/b»At Oudtshoorn, on Friday the 8«sup»th«/sup» September at 2pm «b»Percival, St Clair, «/b»the beloved child of «b» Richard S. Langford «/b»and «b»Marguerite C. Langford, «/b»aged 1 year, 7 months and 28 days. The bereaved parents herewith express their heartfelt thanks to Drs 'O Hare, Russell and Smith for their unwearied attention and care likewise to the many other grinds who, in their time of care and sorrow, have lightened their burden by their kind help an sympathy
P2 We regret to hear of the sad loss by death of the eldest child of Mr «b»R.S. Langford, «/b»which occurred last week. «b»Mr and Mrs«/b» «b»Langford «/b»had just returned from a trip to England , and were staying with Dr. O'Hare for a few days prior to their departure for Calitzdorp, when on Monday the child showed symptoms of croup, which rapidly developed, and notwithstanding the most careful nursing and the best medical skill, the little one's spirit fled on Friday morning. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon, being numerously attended, and the Revd. Stegmann officiating. Great sympathy is shown to the bereaved parents for the irreparable loss they have sustained.
