    • Susanne SEUGNET of Saint Onge, arrived at the Cape in 1689 with her two sisters Claudine en Jeanne.

From «i»French Refugees at the Cape«/i»
      "«b»Seugnet Seugnete Giode-Claudine, Susanne, Jeanne
«/b»Probably three sisters from Saintonage were admitted members of the church at Stellenbosch in April 1689 having brought attestations from Amsterdam. Glaudine married Paul Roux of Orange before 1694 qv and Susanne married Francois du Toit of Ryssel about 1690 qv."

They may have been related to Elie Seugnet and his wife Anne Baudouion of Saintonge, who was naturalised in Amsterdam after Elie's death in 1709
